Horseback Riding And Country Day

Horseback Riding And Country Day

Duración: 9 Horas

One of the highlights of the vibrant culture of Buenos Aires Province is horseback riding. Tangol presents an exclusive one or two-day journey across some of the most emblematic towns of the Argentine Pampas, nestled within 100 km from Buenos Aires city and enveloped by lush fields and quintessential Pampas landscapes.

Get ready to immerse yourself in a genuine gaucho experience, where you'll gain insights into horse saddling and riding, and get acquainted with the local customs and culinary delights. For this unique experience, we'll be using Creole horses, native to South America, renowned for their strength and gentleness in the Argentine Pampas.

The HORSEBACK RIDING AND COUNTRY DAY tour also comprises a lunch featuring traditional dishes and all-inclusive board for the two-day option, inclusive of beverages.
In order to ensure a memorable experience for all, we utilize well-trained horses and provide medical insurance, with an assistant present for every group of four passengers.

Descripción del Tour:

OPTION 1: FULL-DAY ADVENTURE: "Martín Fierro"

Should you select the private transfer choice, we'll delightedly collect you from your accommodation at 8:30 am. Otherwise, our rendezvous will be at the predetermined spot at 10:00 am.

The venue is a quaint, compact location with a white entrance gate, horse stalls, and comfort rooms for guests.

Upon arrival, guests may freshen up as the horses, already saddled, await their riders. We allocate 20 minutes for the riders to mount their horses and provide guidance on how to steer them.

We then embark on a dirt path, immersing ourselves in the countryside's beauty for approximately two hours. The scenery includes cattle, birds, and occasional encounters with local horsemen. Our journey leads us to a farm where a traditional Argentinian barbecue awaits us at a field pavilion, complete with grilled meats, chorizos, salads, beverages, and dessert. This is a humble pit stop for lunch and relaxation (not a tourist resort).

After a hearty meal and well-earned rest, we hop back on the horses for the remaining 15 minutes of our journey.

Upon reaching our destination, we dismount, bid our farewells, and part ways.

OPTION 2: FULL DAY JOURNEY: "Santos Vega"

If the private transfer option is your choice, we'll collect you from your lodging at 8:30 am. Otherwise, we'll gather at the agreed location at 10:00 am for a day filled with a 2-hour trek along village paths and serene dirt roads amid agricultural and livestock fields.

Starting off, each guest is given a bridle for their horse, showcasing the animal's docility. We lead the horses to the paddocks, demonstrating how to saddle a horse in the Buenos Aires style. Armed with knowledge and reins, we give a brief tutorial on single-rein handling before setting off.

We traverse the town of Keen, taking a dirt road that will guide us throughout the journey. Along the way, we familiarize our guests with the local flora and fauna.
We follow a circular route, ensuring a varied scenery. Accompanied by a mounted guide, we stop midway or at the end (depending on time) for a light lunch with refreshments (sandwiches, empanadas), before continuing our journey back to the starting point, arriving around 3:00 pm.
Once back, we unsaddle and each rider escorts their horse to the pastures to watch them prance freely or simply enjoy a drink of water.

Throughout our journey, we emphasize the historical significance of the Royal Road, the local culture, Buenos Aires traditions, and THE CRIOLLO HORSE. We ride well-tamed, well-groomed Criollo horses, saddled in the style of our Province. In essence, this is not simply a ride, but a voyage back in time, rich with insights into Buenos Aires Province.
