This two-week plus itinerary will guide you through Argentina's most stunning and varied landscapes. Starting in the city of Buenos Aires, you'll be captivated by its eclectic architectural designs and rich cultural tapestry, and you'll have the opportunity to savor a delightful dinner paired with a Tango Show at a Buenos Aires theater. You'll explore the End of the World and paddle through the Beagle Channel. Witness the breathtaking Perito Moreno Glacier in Argentine Patagonia, and experience the vastness of the awe-inspiring Iguazú Falls. Additionally, you'll find peace in the serene beauty of the Argentine Northwest with its striking colors.

Tour Description
Day 1
Arrival in Argentina
Autonomous City of Buenos Aires
Upon landing at Buenos Aires airport, you will be taken to your centrally located hotel. The rest of the day is yours to explore at your leisure.
Day 2
Walking City Tour and Dinner-Tango Show
Autonomous City of Buenos Aires
Around noon, we will gather in San Telmo to embark on a walking city tour of approximately 5 hours through Buenos Aires. This journey will allow you to immerse yourself in the city's essence, exploring its historical and popular sites, and witnessing the evolution from its founding to the present.
Utilizing public transport, including buses and subways, you'll experience local life firsthand, connecting with the unique blend of tango, soccer, and diverse cultures that shape this vibrant metropolis.
The tour concludes in the Recoleta neighborhood, where we will enjoy lunch before wrapping up the tour.
In the evening, indulge in a dinner and a traditional tango show at La Ventana tanguería, featuring stunning tango and folklore performances, along with a captivating boleadoras act.
After the show, you'll be transported back to your hotel.
Day 3
From Buenos Aires to Ushuaia
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before being picked up and checked out for your flight to Ushuaia, in Argentina's southernmost province.
Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to your hotel, with the rest of the day and night free to explore Ushuaia as you wish.
Day 4
Trekking and Canoes
Departing around 9 am, we'll head to Tierra del Fuego National Park, specifically Ensenada Zaratiegui, to admire stunning views of the Beagle Channel, with the Redonda, Hoste, and Navarino islands prominently featured.
We will embark on a Coastal Path walk covering seven kilometers, offering insights into the Beagle Channel's diverse flora and birdlife, as well as remnants of ancient Yámana settlements.
After the approximately 3-hour walk, we'll recharge with a traditional full lunch in a dome or tent.
Post-lunch, around 2 p.m., we'll begin a canoe ride along the Lapataia River, leading us to Lapataia Bay, where the Pan-American Route and National Route No. 3 conclude.
We'll then return to Ushuaia by minibus, arriving around 4:30 p.m. The remainder of the afternoon and evening is yours to enjoy freely.
Day 5
4x4 Adventure
Escondido and Fagnano Lakes
After breakfast, you'll be picked up between 8 and 8:30 am for a trip to the lakes. Traveling along route 3, you'll reach the Garibaldi Pass, offering panoramic views of Escondido and Fagnano lakes.
We'll descend along old lumberjack tracks, with Land Rover trucks enabling access to otherwise unreachable areas due to forest, mud, and stones. Lake Fagnano captivates with its vastness and stunning scenery.
Arriving around 12:30 p.m., you'll enjoy a delicious Creole barbecue at the shelter.
Following lunch, the adventure continues with a thrilling fording of Lake Fagnano, leading to an internal route toward Lake Escondido, surrounded by a breathtaking natural setting.
The return to Ushuaia begins around 2 p.m., arriving at your hotel by approximately 3:00 p.m.
The rest of the afternoon and evening is yours to explore the charming city at your leisure.
Day 6
From Ushuaia to El Calafate
After breakfast, you'll be picked up and checked out for your flight to El Calafate.
Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to your hotel, with the rest of the day and night free to enjoy El Calafate as you please.
Day 7
Minitrekking in Perito Moreno Glacier
After breakfast, we'll pick you up for a trip to Los Glaciares National Park, where guides will provide information about the area, the glacier, and the excursion.
At “Bajo de las Sombras” port, 70 km from El Calafate, we'll board a boat to cross Lago Rico, reaching the opposite shore after a 20-minute journey in front of the majestic south face of the Perito Moreno Glacier.
Upon disembarking, mountain guides will lead us to a cozy shelter with a stunning glacier view to begin the trekking. We'll walk along the lake's coast, keeping an eye on the glacier for potential calving opportunities, followed by a glaciology talk by the guides.
Reaching the glacier's edge, with its remarkable blue ice hues, subgroups of up to 20 people will be formed, and crampons and helmets will be provided by the company. Once on the glacier, you'll receive a safety briefing before exploring this frozen wonderland, designated a World Heritage Site.
The glacier circuit is of medium difficulty, with a firm and safe ice surface. You'll encounter various glacier formations like deep crevasses, blue sinkholes, massive seracs, and turquoise lagoons.
After the ice walk, you'll visit the periglacial zone and lateral moraine for a panoramic view of the Perito Moreno Glacier, the mountains, and the lake. We'll then return through a lush Patagonian Andean forest, completing the three-hour journey along the lake, moraine, ice, and forest (approximately one hour on glacial ice).
At the refuge, a hot drink awaits, followed by a brief return to Puerto Bajo de las Sombras, with a final opportunity to admire the glacier's massive walls from the boat.
The Minitrekking occurs in a natural environment, with daily changes in glacier and surrounding conditions. The excursion proceeds as long as safety conditions permit.
Day 8
Free day in El Calafate
Day eight offers complete freedom to enjoy El Calafate in any way you prefer.
Day 9
From El Calafate to Iguazú
After breakfast, you'll be picked up and checked out for your flight to Puerto Iguazú.
Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to your hotel, with the rest of the day and night free to explore the city as you wish.
Day 10
Waterfalls on the Argentine side
Puerto Iguazú
This guided excursion offers the chance to explore the Argentine side of Iguazú Falls in three sections:
Devil's Throat: Begin with a small train ride covering 4 km to Devil's Throat, reaching the upper Iguazú River. From here, walk along pathways to a balcony for a stunning view of Devil's Throat.
Upper Circuit: A 500-meter ascent (45 minutes) provides views of Dos Hermanos, Bossetti Falls, Adan and Eva, Bernabe Mendez, Mbiguá, and San Martin from above.
Lower Circuit: With a professional guide, walk about 1300 meters over 1.5 hours to see the falls' lower section. This excursion includes transfers to the Iguazú National Park Visitor Center, where you can take the train back to Devil's Throat.
Day 11
From Iguazú to Salta
After breakfast, you'll be picked up and checked out for your flight to Salta.
Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to your hotel, followed by a City Tour of Salta to explore the main attractions of this charming northern city.
Day 12
Salinas Grandes and Purmamarca
Salta and Jujuy
After breakfast, we'll pick you up for a day excursion to the Tastil Ruins and then to San Antonio de los Cobres.
After a lunch break, we'll traverse route 40 to reach the Salinas Grandes, located at the Salta-Jujuy border.
We'll then descend along Cuesta de Lipán, often spotting condors, before arriving in Purmamarca to see the Hill of Seven Colors.
After exploring this picturesque town, we'll return to Salta via the highway.
Day 13
Quebrada de Humahuaca
Jujuy
After breakfast, we'll embark on a journey through the Quebrada de Humahuaca, a World Heritage Site, where vibrant landscapes and cultures blend harmoniously.
We'll start by visiting Purmamarca to admire the Cerro de los Siete Colores, the Church, and the Craft Market.
We'll pass by Posta de Hornillos, continuing to Tilcara to visit the Pucará and the Archaeological Museum.
Next, we'll visit Huacalera, crossing the Tropic of Capricorn, to see the Pollera de la Colla hill colors. At Uquía, we'll view the Church's Arquebuceros Angels paintings. Arriving in Humahuaca, we'll explore the Cathedral and Independence Monument (El Indio) by sculptor Soto Avendaño.
Following lunch, we'll observe the Painter's Palette surrounding Maimará and return to Salta via the lush cornice road.
We'll pass through the Abra de Santa Laura, viewing the dams La Ciénaga, Las Maderas, and Campo Alegre, and return to Salta through Vaqueros.
Day 14
Excursion to the Cafayate wine region
Salta
The tour begins in the Lerma Valley, passing through tobacco fields and colonial towns like Germany, historically the Belgrano railway's endpoint.
We continue into the Quebrada del Río Las Conchas, where unique wind and water-eroded formations captivate: dunes, the toad, the bishop, devil's throat, castles, amphitheater, and more.
Continuing along National Route 68, we arrive in Cafayate, the youngest city in the Calchaquí Valleys, globally renowned for its wines, especially Torrontés, which can be sampled during visits to both artisanal and industrial wineries.
Return to Salta via the same route, with the changing sunlight offering a fresh perspective on the ravine's landscape.
Day 15
From Salta to Buenos Aires
After breakfast, you'll be picked up and checked out for your flight to Buenos Aires.
Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to your centrally located hotel, with the rest of the day free to enjoy as you wish.
Day 16
Farewell to Argentina
After breakfast and checking out, you'll be transferred to the airport for your return flight.
