Iguazu Falls has a subtropical climate: from October to March it's hot and humid with frequent rain; from April to September it's milder, and the water flow is usually excellent between March and May. Buenos Aires has a temperate climate; spring and autumn are ideal for city tourism. For the excursion, pack lightweight, quick-drying clothing, a raincoat or poncho, closed-toe, non-slip shoes, sunscreen, a hat, and insect repellent. Use a waterproof bag for your devices. Tours often operate in the rain, although some walkways may be closed for safety reasons. Check the forecast and coordinate adjustments with your travel advisor to maximize your experience.

Many travelers combine both sides in a luxury tour. A visit to Iguaçu National Park (Brazil) may be included or offered as an optional extra, depending on availability. To cross between Argentina and Brazil, you will need a valid passport; some nationalities require a visa or permit. Check consular requirements before your trip. With private transfers, immigration procedures are usually quick. There is no mandatory yellow fever vaccination in most cases, although it may be recommended; consult your doctor. Note that entrance fees to each park and local taxes may be paid separately. Bring cash or a credit card and confirm border crossing times.

Conditions vary depending on the season, hotel category, and airfare. Some packages offer flexible cancellation up to a certain number of days before departure; others are non-refundable due to promotional flights. A deposit is usually required to guarantee the reservation, with the balance due before departure. Date changes are subject to availability and fare differences. If extreme weather affects operations, the operator will reschedule activities or offer alternatives. Review terms and conditions, refund periods, payment methods, and consider purchasing travel insurance with medical coverage. Confirm everything with the sales advisor at the time of quoting and ticketing.
